Ukrainian science has a great potential, and its realisation is now the main task of Ukrainian scientific groups. Therefore seven leading Ukrainian enterprises and organizations have united into Closed Stock-Joint Company "Scientific and Industrial Concern NAUKA" in order to achieve this goal and coordinate their activity in different science branches.

The goals of Concern:
- Saturation of Ukrainian market with high-quality production by development of radio engineering manufacturing, electronics, telecommunications and informatics in accordance with state requirements for improved technical and scientific developments and their practical application;

- Strengthening of economical relations among enterprises of different branches with the purpose of creation and support of favourable conditions for overcoming the economic crisis;
- Manufacture of super-pure materials and compositions for electronics;
- Oganization of technology transfer;

During five years of its operations Concern NAUKAhas achieved significant progress in scientific, technical and commercial fields.
The specialists of Scientific and Industrial Concern NAUKA have developed and submitted to national managing departments 4 complex scientific and technical programs:

- Highly productive computer technique for solution of economic, defensive, scientific and educational tasks;

Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has involved Concern NAUKA, the leading organization in the field of intellectual property, in accordance with its Decree of 30th of March 2001 #162 into practical realization of entering European market of science intensive technologies by Ukrainian scientific and industrial organizations.
The project on organization of foreign representations of Ukrainian operators in the intellectual property market plays a significant role in creation of working mechanisms of entering the international market by Ukraine. This project is now being realized under the patronage of Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Industrial Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Natinal Company "Ukrspetsexport" under the common logotype "Ukrainian Technology Agency".
